Following our annual H&S glazing inspection on this office building in Central London we were instructed to undertake the replacement of the identified delaminating glass panels. The glass panels are 21.5mm toughened laminated with a bespoke pattern on the interlayer and only produced in Europe. At over 200kg each the project required meticulous planning and to ensure they can be safely replaced in a cost-effective manner.
Our client advised that previous replacements on the site had been completed with a crane and required the closure of a busy London roadway. Using a counter-balanced floor crane at roof level we are able to undertake the works with only a partial pathway closure meaning the works can be completed in a shorter lead time with less disruption, as well as avoiding the significant costs of road closures and crane lifts.
From our initial attendance this has now developed into an annual glazing maintenance package with annual glazing inspections and a very satisfied customer –
‘I wish to commend your team for their work. Everything was to the standard I have come to expect from your company, very professionally done.’
