Health & Safety
Health and Safety is paramount and Sky Access UK endeavour to be at the forefront safe working in the commercial glazing industry. The nature of our works means the risks are potentially very high which is why each project is surveyed by an experienced technician prior to works commencing. From this, site specific risk assessments and method statements will be finalised and submitted.
To maintain our status as a member company of IRATA we have to ensure that we conform to industry approved guidelines. Our processes both beforehand and while on site have been developed and improved so that we operate at the highest possible standard.
When projects require access to the glazing face our IRATA qualified rope access specialists are able to use specialist rope access techniques to safely go about their task. With in-house IRATA level 3 rope access operatives we have no need to use outside sources for supervision, meaning you can be assured that you will be getting a fully experienced and qualified team on your site.
Outside rope access, IPAF and PASMA qualifications allow us to utilise cherry pickers, scissor lifts, spiders and alloy access towers amongst other specialist lifting equipment, to fulfil any duty and to access almost all areas of a buildings structure. All our technicians are CSCS card holders with various other supporting qualifications.
With NEBOSH, SMSTS and SSSTS qualifications within our team, clients can be assured that every aspect of their glazing refurbishment project is undertaken by a competent person.
